DAF Trucks expands its range with a new FAF 10×4 chassis, factory-designed for intensive use in the construction sector. With a technical GVW of 52 tonnes, it combines high payload with exceptional manoeuvrability thanks to its five-axle configuration - two 8 or 9 tonne front axles and a 34 tonne triple rear axle, including an electro-hydraulically liftable steering stub axle.
This sturdy chassis allows the installation of heavy-duty cranes behind the cab, and supports up to 26 tonnes static load on the last axle, ideal for removable tippers and containers.
The FAF 10×4 is available with PACCAR MX-11 and MX-13 engines (300 to 530 hp) combined with TraXon automated transmission.
Available in XD and XF versions, it features advanced DAF Digital Vision, Corner View and rearview camera technologies for optimum visibility.
