Groupe Delisle, a specialist in the transport of liquids, powders and tippers, has taken a further step in the modernization of its fleet with the order of 41 Volvo Trucks vehicles, including 38 FH AERO 460 TC I-Save tractors and 3 FMX rigids dedicated to dairy distribution.

Founded in 1977 and headed by Jonathan Delisle since 2017, the family business employs 1,650 people, including 1,250 drivers at 25 sites in France. With this order, Delisle's Volvo Trucks fleet increases to 42 vehicles out of a total fleet of 1,300 engines.

The Volvo FH AEROs chosen by the Delisle Group are all B100 flexible compatible, enabling a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions. They incorporate the latest technological innovations from Volvo Trucks: the I-Save system for optimized fuel consumption, Volvo Dynamic Steering offering unrivalled driving comfort, Globetrotter cabs designed for driver well-being, as well as corner and rear-view cameras enhancing day-to-day safety.

" The release of the FH AERO 460 B100 enabled us to test the vehicle for three months with very positive results. We therefore decided to order 38 of them for 2025, to diversify our partners and meet our drivers' expectations ", explains Jonathan Delisle, Group President.

The AERO design and I-Save technology offer a significant reduction in fuel consumption, particularly on long journeys of 110,000 to 120,000 km/year. Eco-driving training is underway to maximize these gains.

For Sarah Leblond, Regional Sales Manager, Volvo Trucks France, " this order illustrates a collaboration based on trust, innovation and performance. The choice of the flexible FH AERO B100 demonstrates Delisle's commitment to more sustainable logistics, and to making the driver's job more rewarding.
