Rave Group takes delivery of 4 MAN eTGX electric trucks for Airbus logistics

MAN Truck & Bus France delivered its first four MAN eTGX electric trucks to the Rave Group, during a ceremony at the MAN Service Center in Saint-Jory, Toulouse. These new vehicles reinforce the low-carbon fleet of the transport operator, 30% of whose tractors now run on alternative energies, in line with a strategy implemented over 15 years ago.

The MAN eTGX 20.449 4×2, rated at 330 kW (449 hp) and with a range of around 500 km, will be assigned to Airbus logistics. For over ten years, the Rave Group has been working with the aircraft manufacturer to reduce the carbon footprint of its industrial transport activities. Jean-Yves Kerbrat, Managing Director of MAN Truck & Bus France, adds: " The MAN eTGX combines performance, autonomy and respect for the environment, and fits in perfectly with the Rave Group's sustainable strategy. "

To support the arrival of these vehicles, the Toulouse depot has been equipped with a 200 kW Chargepoly charging station and the Lucie software platform, enabling intelligent charging management and optimization of total cost of ownership.

A forerunner in the adoption of low-carbon energies, the Rave group has successively experimented with B30, CNG, biogas, HVO and B100. In 2025, 66 additional vehicles running on B100 will join the fleet, including 50 MAN TGX tractors and 16 MAN TGM rigids. " With these new MAN electric trucks, we are taking an important step towards electric mobility and making a concrete contribution to our customers' energy transition," emphasizes Xavier Charbon, Managing Director of the Rave Group.
