On June 19, Volvo Trucks France inaugurated its new Truck Center in Compiègne- Le Meux (Oise), after 18 months of construction work. Located close to the A1 motorway, this enlarged center reinforces the network's coverage of the Hauts-de-France region, and illustrates the group's commitment to customer service, local employment and the environment.
The site now includes three additional workshop bays, an extended parts warehouse, and new customer and employee areas. With over 650 m² of additional floor space, this new center significantly strengthens Volvo Trucks' network coverage in the Hauts-de-France region. It also enables the creation of several new jobs, notably for technicians and warehousemen, helping to boost local employment.
It is also the first in France to be equipped with solar panels and incorporates a conserved wetland area, in line with the brand's sustainable ambitions.
