Le Havre CNMP terminal gets 14 new Kalmar hybrid gantry cranes

Kalmar has won a major order for 14 hybrid gantry cranes for the Atlantic multimodal terminal in Le Havre, operated by CNMP LH. The delivery, scheduled for the second quarter of 2026, marks a key milestone for Hanseatic Global Terminals (HGT), majority shareholder in CNMP LH since March 2025. Le Havre is one of Europe's top 10 ports, handling three million containers a year and employing over 550 people. Thanks to its rail connections to Paris and this new strategic investment, the terminal will boost its capacity and efficiency, while reducing local emissions and energy costs. "As we strengthen our position in one of our key European markets, we will continue to improve operations with state-of-the-art equipment and vessels. Building on our recent acquisition of a majority stake in CNMP and our commitment to invest in the terminal, this order plays an important role in further optimizing CNMP LH's operations, while preparing it for significantly increased volume and traffic," says Dheeraj Bhatia, CEO of Hanseatic Global Terminals.
