JLG Industries, a subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation, begins production of selected diesel and electric aerial work platforms at its Nogara site in northern Italy. This strategic transfer, made possible by the acquisition of Hinowa in 2023, is designed to improve delivery times, reduce logistics costs and optimize the company's carbon footprint. The Nogara site boasts state-of-the-art equipment, qualified teams and an ideal position to serve Europe. It will also continue to produce Hinowa machines such as tracked aerial platforms, mini-dumpers and tracked pallet trucks. "This flexibility is an example of how we can use our global presence to add value for our customers," says Rogerio dos Santos, VP EMEAI at JLG.
"Since JLG acquired Hinowa in 2023, we have worked closely together to develop new opportunities and combine our know-how. The production of the first JLG boom elevator in Italy is testimony to a fruitful collaboration," says Zeno Poltronieri, General Manager of the Hinowa range.
The first locally assembled nacelle, an E450AJ, was delivered to a Spanish customer in Q1 2025.
