At this year's Bauma, from April 7 to 13 in Munich, Goldhofer will be highlighting its new SPMT PST/SL-E self-propelled module with hydraulic widening. With an axle load of 45 t and a variable width from 3,000 mm to 5,100 mm, hydraulic widening provides great flexibility, making it ideal for transporting industrial loads. The load is always secure, which is particularly important when transporting large, heavy loads. This also means that fewer axle lines may be required.
The combination unveiled on the manufacturer's stand will be powered by Goldhofer's brand-new E-PowerPack. "In developing our E-PowerPack, we took full advantage of the synergies with our Airport Technology division," says Robert Stein, Vice President Sales&Services. Our years of experience and expertise in the field of all-electric aircraft tractors, some of which can move over 300 tonnes, have given us invaluable know-how. This will enable us to present a technically mature product at Bauma that meets our customers' high expectations.
Digitization
Another innovation is the Arcus P 5 equipped with "Cargoplus" tires, offering an extremely low loading height of just 735 mm. Thanks to the combination of force-steered and friction-steered axles, the Arcus offers optimum steering and stability. In addition, multiple load securing options and the innovative "Traffideck GOTM" floor enhance safety.
Goldhofer also unveils its new digital solutions: thanks to cooperation with the creators of the online software HeavyGoods.net, planning convoys with Goldhofer vehicles will become easier and more economical. The software, which runs in any standard web browser, calculates axle loads, bending moments, rollover stability, overload limits, cargo securing and swept paths, and is capable of integrating data from 3D drone images. The collaboration with HeavyGoods.net means that Goldhofer customers will be able to benefit from these new digital services at the show.
Many other new products are expected on the manufacturer's stand.
