Michelin expands its truck tire retreading offer

Michelin now offers a second premium hot retread for tires in the Michelin X Multi series, the company's best-selling series in Europe. Remix 2 offers tires retreaded with the same tread patterns and compounds as new tires, in compliance with Michelin's rigorous testing, production and quality control standards. These retreaded tires offer mileage performance close to 95% that of new tires. They are produced in the same molds as those used for a first retread and benefit from the same markings as tires from a first retread.

An advantage for fleet managers: the price of a retreaded tire is around 60% of the price of an equivalent new tire, for similar mileage. The extension to a second premium retread reduces operating costs while offering performance equivalent to that of new tires," points out Paul de Lajudie, Michelin Group Truck Tire Retread Director. This second premium retread demonstrates the exceptional endurance of our casings and the constant improvement in performance of our MICHELIN ranges, thanks to technologies such as Infinicoil."

Following on from the X WORKS range for use on aggressive soils, this extension now offers a second premium hot retread for sizes 315/70 R 22.5 and 315/80 R 22.5. Available in France, Benelux, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
