Faymonville sets up a plant in the United States

The Faymonville Group has chosen Little Rock, Arkansas, as the site for its first production facility in the United States. This investment of over 92 million euros is spread over a 22-hectare site. In its first phase of development, the production site will cover 38,000 m2, then 58,000 m2 in a second phase. The site, located in the port of Little Rock, offers access to major highways, Class I railroads, waterways and a national airport.

"By early 2026, production will be up and running, and the vehicles will bear the 'Made in America' label, with the aim of long-term success in the American market," say Yves and Alain Faymonville .

A team in Luxembourg is working on new value-added products for the US market. Initially, while preparations for in-house production are underway, individual components will be manufactured in Little Rock. After-sales service and spare parts for Cometto brand vehicles will also be strengthened here.

"We don't just supply special vehicles, we offer complete transport solutions," said Alexander Fickers, CEO of the Faymonville Group. We are proud to have delivered our first vehicle in the USA in 2016. What we particularly like about the American market is its enormous potential, its practical, solution-oriented mindset, and the much simpler administration than in Europe."

The Faymonville Group has four sites in Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland and Italy. Around 3,000 units are produced here each year. Vehicles are delivered to 125 countries, generating sales of around 442 million euros in 2023.
